Hobby Crafts Diversity

Everyone has a different craft or hobby interest! The variety, scope, and expense variations of hobbies and crafts is just amazing. There is something in the hobby craft pastime area for literally everyone; some hobby and craft activities are completely free.

Have you ever thought about how many different hobbies and crafts there are? Let's start with the main categories and go from there.

When thinking about hobbies, think about things people do like crafts, collecting, and pastimes.

Breaking it down further: when thinking about crafts, think about scrapbooking, sewing, painting, arts & crafts like beading, candle and soap making, crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, needlepoint, quilting, woodworking, drawing and sketching, jewelry making, rock polishing, mosaics, wood tile blocks, etching, carving, pottery, whittling and carving, and so forth.

Collecting brings to mind a huge variety of hobbies like action figures, toy or model trains, miniatures, buttons, dolls, coins, antiques, artwork, toys, comic books, stamps, remote controlled or radio controlled cars, planes, helicopters, and other vehicles; just about anything you can think of is being collected today. Shoes, vintage clothing, musical instruments, DVDs and VHS tapes, pencils, ephemera of all kinds, marbles, dice, and on and on.

When it comes to pastimes, we are all just as varied in our passions. While the author enjoys gardening, genealogy, puzzles, playing guitar, photography, and bird watching - other people prefer juggling, kites, smoking, tombstone rubbing, astronomy, reading, and even dumpster diving.

List of Hobbies is a webpage I'll be working on as time allows. All the crafts, hobbies, and pastimes can be included in this list of hobbies but only family oriented information will be presented here.

This site is intended to explore our universal hobby interest, crafts, hobbies, and hobby craft. From playing Old Maid to playing the latest video or computer games. From beachcombing to magic and illusion. From guppie breeding to raising fierce carnivores at home; whatever there is in the hobby, craft, and pastime universe is fair game here.  

This is a place to see what other people are doing in the world of crafts and hobbies. Let's explore our common interests and build unity in the world through our hobby interests.

Did I mention fishing, hunting, animal husbandry, gambling, treasure hunting, writing, or wine making? All of these and more will find a way here over time. Sports activities are often hobbies too.
